style me Friday: something Leopard !

PLus size style inspiration Fall outfit #leopard print #red #faux #leather Jacket
Happy Friday loves ! This is week is almost over and I am looking forward to the weekend although I do not have any interesting plans. Style me Friday this week is all about leopard print and you know I love me some leopard print. I have decided to just wear my Asos bodycon dress  (previously here) and pair it with my red faux leather jacket (previously here )since it was a bit cold out. Oh! can we talk about my hair for a sec ? I’ve finally decided to let it grow and I am going for the tapered sides look. I also miss braiding my hair but I am thinking I have to wait another 2 months before I can braid the sides. In case you don’t remember this is how it used to look back in May. I wish you all a very nice weekend and don’t forget to check out Fashionista Next Door to see how the other ladies styled their outfits.

Style me Friday: how to wear denim cutoffs plus size

Happy Friday !!! Thank you for all the beautiful comments on my previous post , Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. I’ve spent an amazing and quiet birthday, but I have a feeling that this weekend will be very loud. First of all, sorry for all the blurry pictures you are about to get today. I’ve recently purchased some new lenses and I am having a hard time to figuring out how it works. I hope to get my ish together soon. I am so happy that Style me Friday is back this week after a 2 weeks hiatus. This week challenge was to style denim cutoffs. Since I do not own one of those just yet I’ve decided to wear my regular short shorts. Read More »

Plus size style inspiration: Burgundy and Polka Dots

“When someone does not accept the decisions you make in life, Its ok to just move on and live your life. Just be the best you can be and enjoy life”
Holla loves ! Did you miss me ? I know I have been  gone for a while now,but you can blame it on the crappy weather , being sick( kids are sick too ), and dealing with some bad news. Anyways I know you have no time to read all that but  being a blogger in Canada can be very depressing at times. We are currently sitting at 5 Degres and I just could not bother to stand outside to take my pictures.  I am finally able to post a Style me Friday on time. The challenge this week was to wear Denim on Denim which has been trendy for some times now. I have quiet a few denim shirts and it took me a while to settle for this one. Do you try a millions things sometimes before you settled for a look ? I do that all the times. Seriously guys I am all over the place today so let me just leave it here and pick it back up later. Read More »

Holla loves ! Here I am late again for the Style Me Friday post. I knew I wanted to rock the look this Saturday to dinner with the boys , so  I waited until I did then snapped pictures. Its turned out not to be such a good idea because it was windy and raining as hell. I am glad I took the pictures before we went out because by the time  I got home my hair looked like a smashed potato (Natural hair girl problems). As I am writing this post  I am under my blanket battling a very nasty cold and headache. So the challenge this week was a simple one. Slakers or as many of us call them trousers are the type of pieces that every girl owns. I know my look does not look similar to the inspiration but as the host of this link up said “Your version of the inspiration look does not need to be literal. It just needs to capture the spirit of the look.Read More »

It’s been a while since I have done a style inspiration post. I can’t wait for Ebony to bring back her Style Me Friday posts. Have you ever seen a look on pinterest, and immediately told yourself “I have the same items in my closet”? I pinned this look a while back, and was patiently waiting for the weather to warm up to recreate it. This post is to reaffirm  that size is nothing but a number. You can recreate any look you like as long as you are comfortable with it. I wanted to wear my black crop top, but since it’s still a bit cold out I wore my turtleneck. My skirt was actually a dress. I’ve decided to cut the top portion. I hope you guys enjoy this pinspiration post. Read More »

Plus size style inspiration: Crop tops

Hola loves ! I hope you are having a wonderful week. Do you wear crop tops ? I find that I am taking even more risks now than when I had a smaller body. Believe me after having two kids my mid section is no longer the pretty flat, stretch mark free belly. I am very conscious of my waist and for that reason when I purchase crop tops I always make sure it only shows a bit of skin like this one here on a previous post or this one I made from a top purchased from H&M. The stores both straight and plus sizes are flooded with tops like I am wearing. I got this one from Forever21 for only $7 and they have hundred of options on both the US site here and the Canadian site here. In case you are not comfortable showing skin then it’s better to add a little cardigan, denim jacket or blazer on top of it. Just have fun with it !!!!!!
Update: So this is totally random but I just I had to write it. So I visited Eboni’s Blog on Monday , Tuesday  to see what our tasks was for this week Style me Friday but I could not find a post so I assumed that we were taking a break  this week only to find out today that the task was wearing crop tops. How cool is it that I actually wore a crop top this week already ?  I know random but it was really worth writing.
